Cooperl plans to create 500 jobs at the former Gad site

The cooperating pork slaughter group Cooperl wants to buy the former Gad factory in Lampaul-Guimiliau in Finistère, which has been closed since 2013. The objective of the group, ranked first in France for pork processing: to create a new slaughterhouse which ultimately lead to the hiring of nearly 500 people. The ambition of this joint initiative is to relaunch the Finistère pork sector and move it upmarket (particularly through better management of animal welfare).
