60 – Camfil doubles its filter production
World leader in air filtration, the Swedish group Camfil continues to invest in France, in its subsidiary in Oise. Its activity has been accelerated by the health crisis in tertiary real estate, but the site is also focusing on the health and nuclear industry. With nearly 275 employees and double-digit growth for five years, the site has just invested in a new production line for 3 million euros. The goal? Double the production of Opakfil filters, increasing from 250,000 to 400,000 per year. Presented as the company's flagship product, this filter is used for tertiary buildings, as real estate in this sector is booming in Europe. The RT 2020 standard requires manufacturers to install significant air filtration. Opakfil is considered the most efficient and the least energy-consuming on the market according to management, its filtering surface represents a studio of 17 m2 and it reduces electricity consumption by 10 to 20%.
