59 - Renault recruits more than 300 people at its Maubeuge and Douai sites
The French car manufacturer Renault has just announced the hiring of 300 people on permanent contracts this year, within the Douai and Maubeuge factories in the Electricity division. The group aims to make its factories in the North "the most competitive and efficient production unit for electric vehicles in Europe with 500,000 vehicles produced per year by 2025". These 300 permanent jobs are a first wave of hiring planned for 2023. In total, the manufacturer wants to recruit 700 people by 2024. "These 300 hires, respectively 100 for the Douai factory and 200 for the Maubeuge factory will mainly concern production agent positions and are in addition to the 48 permanent contracts signed in 2022 for the professions of maintenance technicians and engineers, production management and quality engineers", specifies the manufacturer in a press release.
