44 - Galliance inaugurates its new poultry slaughterhouse in Ancenis

Following an investment of 43 million euros, this new slaughterhouse located close to the old site in Ancenis (44) will allow the development of the sectors, Organic, Label Rouge, etc. Its production capacity is now 550,000 chickens per week. In a complicated context for the poultry sector (Avian Influenza) which adds to the economic and energy context, this new slaughterhouse is a fundamental tool for regaining market share in the face of rising imports. Organized around the improvement of industrial competitiveness and biosecurity, it relies on the best requirements in terms of animal welfare.
