Thébault invests in two new high-tech concrete production tools
Thébault has inaugurated an automated window sill line and is doubling its concrete production capacity thanks to a new plant commissioned since last September. Specializing in the production and distribution of concrete products for construction, public works and agriculture, in Verneuil-d'Avre-et-d'Iton (Eure), Thébault invested €5.5 million in two pieces of equipment , a manufacturing line and a concrete plant. The new manufacturing line (approximately €3.3 million) begins production of Lisa window sills: the EPS core, embedded in concrete, lightens the part by at least 40%, providing appreciable handling comfort for artisans as well as businesses. Furthermore, the insulation reduces thermal bridges by 15 to 20%. The duration of the production cycle is three minutes per chassis, a mechanically welded structure that can accommodate 2 to 6 plastic molds depending on the length of the part (52 to 252 cm). The unique process has been patented.
