Unity SC launches SCSI project with new factory in Saint-Ismier

French Unity SC, an expert in metrology and inspection equipment for the semiconductor industry, has unveiled its SCSI (semi-conductor Saint-Ismier) project, which includes the construction of a new plant in Saint-Ismier, Isère.

Scheduled to start up in 2026, this plant will become the “pillar” of Unity SC’s industrial production, allowing it to quadruple its annual production of metrology and inspection machines. In addition to the production facilities, the SCSI project includes a laboratory specialized in the inspection of new promising compounds for the semiconductor industry, as well as a DemoLab dedicated to innovation and technological development. Supported by the France 2030 program, this strategic project is expected to generate around a hundred new jobs, strengthening Unity SC’s position as a key player in semiconductor technology in France.
