NORELEM
High quality coil compression springs
Springs or helical compression springs from norelem consist of a rectangular profile wire made of chrome-silicon steel. They are wound in a way that reacts to pressure. Due to their versatile use, coil compression springs are used, among other things, in the construction of tools, machines and fasteners. Depending on the requirements, a certain type of spring is used. The norelem range includes the following load levels:
Green = light load
Blue = moderate load
Red = heavy load
Yellow = extra strong load
The lengths, diameter, strength and colors of the springs comply with the ISO 10243 standard. This standard specifies, among other things, the assembly dimensions and tolerances for springs with a rectangular cross section.
Coil compression springs usually have a diameter between 10 and 25 mm and a length between 25 and 305 mm. Identical lengths and diameters ensure easy interchangeability between different load bearings. In addition, the special profile of the springs makes it possible to obtain high reciprocating and continuous loads and can be used at service temperatures of up to 230°C.
