NORELEM
gas spring
norelem gas springs are closed, maintenance-free hydropneumatic adjustment elements. The spring force F1 results from the internal pressure of the cylinder resulting from the filling fluid, nitrogen. The gas springs have a pressure adjustment valve in the end cap, this valve allows the pushing force of the cylinder to be reduced. In the gas spring this pressure acts on the cross-sectional area of the piston rod. The force of the gas spring increases with the diameter of the piston rod and the volume of the gas spring. norelem gas springs contain an oil charge for lubrication and the end position damper.
norelem gas springs are regularly used in machine building for machine opening and holding devices, where they act as a support. In tool manufacturing, gas springs are even used to replace conventional steel springs, as they have a higher power density. When assembling and disassembling gas springs, always ensure that they are in a discharged state, otherwise serious damage may occur. The cylinder is filled with nitrogen and is under high pressure. The non-return valve in the threaded plug of the pressure tube is able to reduce the expulsion force afterwards.
norelem gas springs are available in more than 300 variants.
norelem fills gas springs individually to meet customer requirements.
-Damping and lubrication are done by a volume of oil incorporated in the cylinder -The gas springs of size 04/12 and 06/15 must preferably be mounted with the rod downwards. -Models from 08/19 can be mounted in any position -Tolerance of ±5% of rated thrust force. - Other thrust forces on request - Also available in stainless steel version
