CONDENSATOR DOMINIT
Active Harmonic Filter
General: The Dominit PQFI Capacitor's active filter is used for filtering harmonic currents above the fundamental frequency, it is also used for reactive current compensation or restoring imbalance between phases. Dominit's PQFI filter is used in industrial and space-constrained applications. Description: The PQFI active filter is connected in parallel on the network. The harmonic currents generated by the active filter are injected into the network in phase opposition with the harmonic currents of the load. The effect on the network is the elimination of polluting harmonics and consequently the return of a clean sinusoid (50 Hz) at 97% of the filter power. Each active filter consists of a main unit that can be connected to other extension units of the same power. Each extension requires its protection. The combination of filters is done side by side. Advantages: Does not require detailed network analysis Uses standard CTs Filters up to 20 harmonics simultaneously (3 wires) Filters up to the 50th order Closed-loop filter for total efficiency Not overloadable Operational safety, cost savings energy Reduction of the danger of overload and the risk of fire in the neutral conductor Reduction of losses Losses / Economical operation of the filter: - Selection of compensation only or combined filtration - Adjustable limits and strategies - Correction of the power factor cos phi - Rebalancing between phases - Efficiency (> 97%) - Automatic standby
