Articulating clamping systems achieve their maximum clamping force when the three axes of rotation are aligned (neutral position). Blocking is ensured by the fact that a joint has passed the neutral position. The overshoot tolerance has been carefully set, to maintain the maximum tension without the clamping system opening in the presence of vibrations or alternating load for example. The strengthening effect of the toggle lever is used in clamping systems operating in a straight line, to be able to perform tasks, such as light perforation, drilling, forming, gluing, facing, riveting, welding and sealing.
