NOVACOM
NOVACOM Cold Air Gun - CS 15 Series
Novacom develops and designs, in France, cold air guns operating with the vortex effect . They are a source of cold, localized and precise air, with the advantage of mobility, thanks to their magnetic bases.
Made of stainless steel, they are composed of several elements, like vortex generators.
Novacom offers 4 Vortex generators depending on the desired temperature delta. The generators allow you to adjust the temperature and flow rate of the air flow in the cold air gun.
The incoming compressed air passes through the fixed, streamlined generator, which forces the air to swirl at high speed inside the tube. The air therefore heats up strongly by rubbing the interior walls of the tube! and escapes through the hot air outlet.
The adjustable throttle valve, located at the hot outlet, physically prevents all airflow from escaping. The air is then forced back inside! and is forced to make the opposite path through the center of the cyclone. This flow has a lower speed, and the speed differential causes a significant heat exchange. When the air flow escapes, through the cold outlet of the Vortex tube, it can reach a very low temperature! up to a delta of 40°C, compared to the temperature of the incoming compressed air flow.
You can equip cold air guns with custom articulated hoses to meet your specific needs. Depending on the application and your preferences, you can choose between round nozzles and flat nozzles. These hoses are designed from independent ball-jointed segments, allowing great flexibility of movement, and they are provided with threaded connections, to ensure a secure connection.
Articulated hoses are also available in single or double flow versions.
The round nozzles allow a more precise and concentrated jet of air, ideal for applications requiring precise targeting. As for flat nozzles, they offer a wider, more uniform air diffusion, suitable for more extensive air coverage.
Perforated hose models are ideal for providing distribution in the form of air curtains, their design allowing them to adjust to a specific configuration.
