NORELEM
Lifting ring range
norelem lifting rings are part of the range of slinging devices. In mechanical engineering, a lifting eye is a fastening element that can be screwed or welded. Examples include male lifting eyes, lifting pins or swivel lifting eyes. These lifting eyes are used to securely connect load-bearing elements (such as lifting chains) to the load to be lifted. |
Areas of application of lifting rings |
Lifting rings are important production equipment, designed for daily use. They allow safe transport of both tools and machines. Other areas of application include: |
- the stowage of goods |
Advantages of lifting rings: |
Norelem lifting rings meet the most important safety standards. Norelem lifting rings are characterised by the following properties: |
- longevity |
Male lifting rings |
A male lifting ring is always used in practice when large loads have to be absorbed by a connecting element. A male lifting ring is very stable, highly resistant and has a high load capacity. Therefore, it is an excellent load-bearing device or anchor point in machine construction and on construction sites. |
Swivel lifting rings |
A swivel lifting ring (or swivel) is a screw-on lifting ring with a ball bearing. Swivel lifting rings are designed to lift heavy loads, which must be turned or turned. Swivel lifting rings are also used to secure loads. |

Shackles |
A shackle is used to absorb tensile forces. Shackles are particularly used when forces acting on fixed components in the area where traction chains or wire ropes pass through need to be absorbed. Shackles are generally light and easy to handle, while offering a high load capacity. |
Handling pins |
The TÜV-tested norelem handling pins serve as quickly lockable load-bearing elements. The handling pins function in the same way as self-locking locking pins. The aluminium push button unlocks the balls. As soon as the push button is released, the balls lock instantly and automatically in the respective locking element (receiving sleeves for handling pins). |
You can find more information on how handling pins work in the video dedicated to their use: Self-locking handling pins |
Load rings |
Load rings (often also called eyelets) are elements that can be rotated up to 360°. This allows the load ring to adapt better to the forces applied. In contrast to fixed lifting rings, the load ring can therefore support the entire load in any installation position. |
Areas of application You will find many models of lifting rings in the norelem online shop. Different rings are used depending on the area of application. |
