Light guides
MENTOR light guides are efficient, precision-engineered optics that transfer light from PCB-mounted LEDs to a remote radiation area with little luminance loss and no light loss between adjacent elements. They provide electronic design engineers with cost-effective, space-saving, easy-to-install solutions with high protection against electrostatic discharge (ESD).
MENTOR's range of high quality standard light guides, are for installation on front panels or on printed circuit boards. We have over 500 high quality standard light guides available from stock with low MOQs and short delivery times.
This is undoubtedly one of the largest ranges of light guides in the world.
Efficient precision optics:
Specialist in optoelectronics, sophisticated lighting modules and innovative LED light management systems, MENTOR designs the highest quality light guides using state-of-the-art ray tracing software. The quality chain is preserved by all the tooling.
Manufacturing is carried out in-house at carefully optimized pressures and temperatures, drawing on both decades of experience and the latest equipment to ensure that the optical effect of the light guide is exactly as expected.
Extended range:
MENTOR offers a wide range of light guides with a variety of versions for different applications. These include solutions that can be mounted on a front panel, as well as on vertical or horizontal PCBs.
Single and multiple light guides, various lens lengths and shapes are also possible.
Miniaturized versions and flexible light guide systems are available. We also offer indicator lights with integrated LEDs.
Customized solutions:
When a custom design is the best solution, MENTOR also offers a variety of options.
In particular, a custom length (dimension A) can be easily achieved with little tooling cost.
Different head shapes, sizes and colors are also possible.
