CM-3700A Benchtop Spectrophotometer
The CM-3700A is the flagship model of the Konica Minolta spectrophotometer range which meets the expectations of the most demanding: absolute precision, short-term stability, long-term stability, degree of inter-instrument agreement. It is the reference instrument in a global color communication network. The two planar holographic gratings associated with the arrays of silicon photodiodes - one for the measuring beam, the other for the control of the illumination - and the high energy xenon flash ensure a high degree of precision and repeatability, especially on dark or very saturated shades. In order to avoid drifts due to temperature variations, the entire optical system is mounted on a molded stainless steel frame. The motorized specular trap, controlled by the optional software, allows measurements of samples in specular reflection included (SCI) or excluded (SCE) mode. The CM-3700A has 3 measuring apertures - Ø 25.4mm, Ø 8mm, and 3x5mm - to accommodate samples of all sizes. Accurate measurement of materials such as paper or fabric treated with fluorescent whitening agents (FWA) – optical brighteners – requires precise control of the UV component and its effects. For the measurement of such samples, the motorized and PC-controlled UV filter allows precise adjustment of the UV content to ensure accurate results on these materials. The large transmission mode measurement compartment of the CM-3700A allows the analysis of solid or liquid, transparent or translucent samples. - Automotive - Plastic - Paint - Glass - Chemistry - Cosmetics
