Recessed hinges

Unlike conventional models, the new hinges are mounted on the inside. They are completely invisible from the outside, which opens up completely new possibilities for designers and engineers – and not just in mechanical engineering.

Thanks to their flat shape, they are very space-saving – an important aspect for mounting inside enclosures.

These components also help to increase security: their internal mounting means that they leave no room for vandalism and protect against break-ins. They have no annoying external edges, thus reducing the risk of injury, which is an advantage in many areas of application.

When mounting the hinges, the user enjoys great flexibility: they can be mounted on the right or left, which allows two different rotational movements. It does not matter whether the application is horizontal or vertical.

In order to be able to offer the right solution for every field of application, norelem concealed hinges are available in three different versions, with opening angles of 90°, 110° or 125°, depending on the thickness of the door or hatch. Versions with opening angle of 90° and 125° are available in steel or stainless steel. The one with 110° opening angle is a steel reinforced version.
