HPC - Radial contact ball bearings
Ball bearings are mechanical components that primarily allow the rotation of a shaft relative to a bore. They consist of an outer ring, an inner ring and balls.
Engrenages HPC offers several versions of radial contact ball bearings in its catalog. Single row ball bearings are available open (i.e. without protection), with 2 protection plates or with seals. These bearings are presented in a steel version with a bore diameter of 3 to 50mm. For aggressive environments, single row stainless steel ball bearings complete the range.
There are also models with double row of balls. These withstand axial loads in both directions in addition to radial loads because they have deep grooves and a high degree of oscillation between balls and raceways. The advantage is that with the same outer diameter and bore, double row ball bearings support significantly higher loads than single row ball bearings.
