Personalization

The clear and attractive design of CleanSwitch can be adapted in various ways to the wishes of the customer. A few seconds are enough to modify the color, brightness and visual feedback, without tools. In addition, Bircher offers a wide choice of pictograms that can be affixed to the front face of the device and intended to facilitate its use. Individual pictograms and logos are available on request.

Ease of integration

Its harmonized design allows the functional unit of the CleanSwitch to fit perfectly into the cover frame of the switch system. Thus, CleanSwitch enables coherent spatial planning and offers modern architecture a new, striking design object. The detector module is particularly easy to install, as device settings can be made without tools.

Opening and locking doors

Activated by a specific gesture, the CleanSwitch Lock switch locks access without contact and keeps the door closed.

Thus, the contactless switch is suitable for different application areas that require door locking in addition to opening, such as in healthcare facilities, laboratories and sanitary areas. The electrical connection is simply made via a potential-free output and the CleanSwitch Lock can be connected to any door control.

Display of door states

When using the CleanSwitch Lock in a system, the switch's LED display can indicate the status of the door similar to a traffic light (red/green). It is thus possible to signal whether a toilet or airlock is occupied. When the door is locked, the CleanSwitch activation function is also disabled, which prevents unwanted or accidental opening of the door. Additional components, display elements and locking systems thus become superfluous.

Usual level of comfort and service

Of course, all basic functions of CleanSwitch are also available on the CleanSwitch Lock. Intuitive use and easy handling make it easy to install. The configuration table allows you as usual to quickly adapt pictograms, housing colors, accessories and switch programs to your needs.
