Smart field analysis and data output in one device
For a scalable range of 2D-LiDAR sensors without gaps, SICK completes the TiM series with the TiM7xx model. This sensor combines intelligent field analysis and data output in one device. Thus, it can both determine data via the presence of an object in a defined area and provide exact measurement data of the scanned surface. With the TiM7xx, SICK has reduced the number of sensors required for mobile applications. Thus, customers can develop individual solutions for their applications. The compact design of the sensors is e.g. suitable for mobile platforms, driverless vehicles and mobile service robots. The TiM7xx supports localization and collision avoidance of these applications.
