Electroforged grating
The electro-forged grating is obtained by electro-welding of the insert bars, generally in a twisted square (or in a smooth circle), in the supporting bars. Its frame is then made with a "flat" profile and the assembly can be hot-dip galvanized in accordance with the EN ISO 1461 standards in force. For an optimal non-slip surface, it is possible to produce the electro-forged grating in a notched version, only on the bearing bars. It is generally made from S235JR steel according to EN 10025 standards allowing a production of constant quality. Manufacturing tolerances according to the RAL-GZ 638 standard.
It is particularly suitable for places where structural modifications are frequent or where re-cutting is necessary. Electro-forged grating is frequently used in many industrial sectors:
- Chemical and petroleum industry
- Automotive and steel industry
- Shipbuilding
- Cement works
- Transformation and metal construction...
The JK Technic electro-forged grating is manufactured according to precise specifications. The dimensions of the bearing bars (BP) are important because they determine the load bearing capacity.
