Description
A current transformer is used to lower the primary current value to a standardized value (1 or 5 A) in order to adapt to the current inputs of power plants, energy meters and measurement converters.
Frer brand current transformers provide galvanic isolation for critical electrical circuits.
When the short-circuit current of the installation is high (> 10 kA), it is recommended to use current transformers to connect equipment such as an energy meter or a measuring unit.
They are designed to meet the different needs of industrial and tertiary installations.
