DÉCAPAFOND® pickling bath is a high-performance chemical solution, specially formulated for the surface treatment of stainless steel parts, tanks and pipes . Used in the most demanding industrial environments, it restores the passivity of stainless steel after welding, forming or chemical pollution, thus guaranteeing optimal protection against corrosion.
This professional product is applied by dipping, circulation or trickling , after dilution, and ensures a homogeneous and effective action, even in hard-to-reach areas.

Product Description:
DÉCAPAFOND® industrial pickling bath is specially formulated for pickling, degreasing and passivating stainless steel tanks, parts and assemblies. Its effectiveness allows it to remove oxides, dirt and weld marks, while preparing surfaces for welding or finishing operations.
Main features:
Chemical composition: Fluonitric acid solution, perfectly suited to stainless steels.
Form: Concentrated liquid to be diluted according to usage requirements.
Operating temperature: 30°C to 70°C for optimal efficiency.
Application method: Immersion of the parts in the pickling bath (boilermaking bath), followed by rinsing with clean water.
Treatment time: Varies depending on the degree of oxidation, generally between 5 and 30 minutes.
