SHELL & TWIST® EXCHANGERS
The Barriquand Shell & Twist® exchanger is specially designed to respond to various problems of fouling, thermal program and mechanical fatigue.
IMPACT OF TWISTED TUBES:
- Largely improved internal and external exchange coefficients
- Limited internal fouling of the tubes
- Efficiency of cleaning phases (CIP) optimized
- Reduced mechanical fatigue, the shapes given to the tubes allowing a "bump to bump" contact with a rigid bundle without baffles and without length of unsupported straight tubes.
The speed in the grille is increased, for a better coefficient of exchange outside the tubes.
