Ouragan opens a new textile factory in Groslay
The 600,000 euros in subsidies obtained by the Recovery Plan allow the haute-couture factory to launch the construction of a second clothing factory in Groslay. It thus quadruples its available surface and doubles its workforce. The SME founded in 1994 manufactures ready-to-wear clothing for luxury brands, and, since the first confinement, personal protective equipment (masks, tunics, etc.). This grant enables it to modernize its entire fleet of machines and to begin construction of a new 3,500 m2 factory in the ZAC des Monts du Val d'Oise, in Groslay. The company hopes to eventually launch its own brand, in the field of work clothes for airlines and hotels in particular, while retaining its subcontracting contracts for luxury brands. This new activity will be possible thanks to the new factory and the doubling of the workforce planned within three years, which will increase the company from 20 to 40 employees.
