02 - Acova invests to facilitate coloring
In the Aisne, Acova, a specialist in decorative radiators and heated towel rails, has just invested 4.5 million euros, intended to facilitate color, an important criterion for personalization, to reduce the environmental impact and to improve the workstation ergonomics. Expert in made-to-measure, Acova is renewing its color chart in collaboration with Juliette Baumgartner, renowned colorist architect. Colour, an important criterion for customization, concerns 25% of decorative radiators and heated towel rails leaving its factory in Vaux-Andigny, in Aisne, and up to 100% on certain ranges. This investment, which benefited from the France Recovery Plan, made it possible to reduce water and energy consumption, to limit discharges linked to surface treatment before painting, but also the environmental impact of trucks carrying out the shuttle several times a day. between the factory and the logistics center in Saint-Quentin, which now run on biogas. The Acova factory produces one thousand radiators per day on average, 75% of which are intended for the French market.
