56 - Tahe Outdoors invests €2 million in a new production line

Established in Vannes in Morbihan for forty years, the Tahe Outdoors company, a former Bic Sport factory, relies on its local know-how and sustainable development to shine worldwide. A successful bet: it opens a third production line. Indeed, Tahe Outdoors has just invested 2 million euros in new equipment for the thermoforming of windsurf boards, surfboards and kayaks. These machines, inaugurated on April 28, 2022, will enable it to increase its annual production by 30 to 35% and thus respond more effectively to market demand while gaining flexibility and agility. In order to claim European production, the manufacturer has repatriated the purchase of its components to Europe, which historically was made in Asia. This supply allows it to reduce its environmental footprint, since delivery times for goods are reduced considerably.
