A new €7.5 million factory for Serres Val de Loire

At the end of 2024, the company Serres Val de Loire, specializing in the manufacture of tunnel greenhouses and equipment, will have a new 9,500 m2 factory in Longué-Jumelles. An investment of €7.5 million carried by Sem Alter Eco. Around 50 employees will occupy this new workspace. An expansion which will allow the Serres Val de Loire company to better serve its customers, horticultural professionals, market gardeners, nursery growers, farmers, wine growers... SVL will thus be able to increase its productivity, notably with the installation of new tools (2nd line of tube cutting, 2nd bending line), to lower its production costs and increase its storage capacity. In addition, the construction of the new site should also enable it to make significant savings in operating costs, by significantly reducing the flow of goods between its different sites.
