BN control box with IO-Link technology
The evolution of communication technologies has paved the way for new solutions in the world of industrial automation.
One of these solutions is based on IO-Link technology, an open communication standard for sensors and actuators defined by the PROFIBUS User Organization (PI).
The use of IO-Link allows point-to-point connection of sensors and actuators to the control system, for reliable and fast data transmission.

In addition, other innovations related to lighting have been introduced: it is in particular possible to adjust the light intensity and activate flashes at different frequencies via the IO-Link system. In this way, the control box can be adapted to various ambient conditions and offer extensive visual indication of system states.
