Application: Linear slides and linear guides, pneumatic cylinders, handling devices, machines and installations.
High performance co-polyester elastomer damping elements contribute to reliable and consistent energy reduction in a variety of applications. They are, for example, ideal for end position cushioning in machine tools, tool manufacturing, linear technology, as well as hydraulic and pneumatic applications.
Large forces often act in industrial machines and plants. To dampen movements, norelem offers functional, solid and universal structural dampers. These are maintenance-free, suitable for emergency stop and continuous use, and have a long service life. They are delivered ready for installation with a special fixing screw and offer very good value for money.
Versatility in harsh environments
The solid damping elements are resistant to microbes, sea water and chemicals, and have very good UV and ozone resistance. They are suitable for use in a temperature range of -40°C up to +90°C.
The structural dampers are available in the versions axial damping, axial damping soft version, radial damping and radial damping hard version. The hardness of the material is 55D Shore or 40D Shore depending on the version. The energy reduction reaches 73% for a dynamic force reception of up to 35,000 N. The radial versions allow very long and gentle braking with an energy reduction that is reinforced at the end of the stroke.
The new structural dampers can be ordered now from norelem and are available from stock.
