COMBIPERM P2 permanent magnet brake

The COMBIPERM P2 is a very compact and powerful permanent magnet brake with a frictionless, backlash-free effect. Compared to the COMBIPERM P1, the brake has a shorter mounting space and requires less power for increased performance. In addition, thanks to its structure it can also be used at temperatures down to -40°C. In the energized state, the magnetic field of the permanent magnet is canceled and the connected component can rotate without residual torque. In the event of an emergency stop or power failure, the safety brake engages, brakes and holds the drive safely in position. Thanks to the short switching times and the compact design, these brakes are ideal for servo motors and the medical industry.

 The high-performance brake has a torque range of 0.8 Nm to 75 Nm.
