NORELEM
plastic gears
Low weight, corrosion resistance, quiet operation, low maintenance thanks to self-lubrication, not to mention a good price-performance ratio: plastic sprockets offer many advantages over steel models. norelem has included many models in its range, which can be used in different industrial sectors thanks to the high performance materials used.
The gears thus ensure mechanical and smooth transmission of forces in alternating directions of rotation, for example for lifting and lowering machine parts or loads. Plastic spur gears with 12 to 150 teeth are available from norelem in sizes 0.5 to 3.
By combining a rack and a gear, it is possible to convert rotary movements into linear movements or vice versa. The norelem range includes plastic models in modules 0.5 to 3 with a standard length of 250 mm.
norelem offers plastic bevel gears in modules 1 to 3.5 with default transmission ratios between 1:1 and 1:5. They are mainly used for the construction of angular gears, which in turn are in great demand in applications with high ratios and torques as well as fast movements.
Mechanical engineering AutomationMaterial: Polyacetal (POM) or polyketone (PK). Finish: Powder coated, straight tooth. Pressure angle 20°. Machined bore. White polyacetal. Ivory polyketone. Note: Polyacetal: standard material with high hardness and reduced coefficient of friction. Polyketone: material with significantly longer service life, higher power transmission and better safety against tooth breakage thanks to its extremely high wear resistance and very good tribological properties.
