Incremental angle encoder

HEIDENHAIN angle encoders type ROD (200/700/800 series) are characterized by their high precision values, of the order of the second of arc or even lower.

• Typically 9,000 to 180,000 strokes

• Accuracies from ± 5“ to ± 0.4“

• Measurement resolutions up to 0.000 01° or 0.036“ (in incremental), or even 29 bits, i.e. approximately 536 million positions per revolution (in absolute)
