Rhopoint IQ FLEX 20 gloss meters are suitable for small parts Like the Rhopoint IQ, the Rhopoint IQ FLEX model profiles the light reflected from a surface to determine its reflected image quality. Traditional gloss meters that only measure the amount of reflected light are immune to effects that diminish appearance quality. The Rhopoint IQ FLEX 20 brings this technology in a new pocket format, specially designed for difficult, small or curved surfaces that are not measurable with a conventional gloss meter. The measurement results obtained with the IQ FLEX are fully compatible with those delivered by a Rhopoint IQ in terms of gloss and appearance. To further improve performance and repeatability even on the smallest parts, the Rhopoint IQ FLEX 20 can be customized with magnetic adapters. Thanks to 3D digital printing technology, it is in fact possible to create personalized measurement templates from the CAD drawings of your components, these adapters can then be easily interchanged for different applications: Measurement spot reducer (4 & 2mm) for measuring small parts or curved parts Repetitive control of small parts, buttons Non-contact adapter for on-line application For delicate surfaces, these adapters can be made of rubber, felt or plastic.
