HUMY Bulk Material Moisture Meter
Description
High precision moisture meter designed for solids , such as granules , powders and pellets, even in explosive environments. The HUMY is used in many processes to measure moisture online, including sugar, tobacco, grain, malt, flour, coal, sand, wood chips, dry foods, fertilizers, powders, pigments and plastic granules. The system can be mounted on a belt or auger conveyor, silo or hopper . Online measurement can also be done in batches. The probe measures the product's dielectric constant and high-frequency damping in the high-frequency range.
