Algra Tool Holder Uni System

New innovative patented “UNI CHANGE” rapid tool change system for milling lathes.

Unlike other solutions on the market, this modular system is dedicated to all rotating tool holders equipped with a standard ER taper output, regardless of the brand.

UNI CHANGE saves considerable time when changing series and brings a lot of comfort and flexibility to the operator.

The wide range of UNI CHANGE modules, developed by ALGRA, makes it possible to offer several possible outputs on the adapters (ER/PW, ER/ER, ER/PF, extended ER, etc.).

Thanks to the UNI CHANGE adapters, the operator no longer needs to disassemble the tool holder from the turret. All he has to do is change the head of the tool holder. Significant time saving and significant flexibility for the operator, who also gains ergonomically since he no longer has to dismantle or carry the tool holders.

Installing the UNI CHANGE module is very easy and only requires one hand. Simply position a spanner around the tool holder and screw UNI CHANGE onto the tool holder. The system is secure: if, however, the operator forgets to remove this key, the tool holder will automatically release it by turning, which prevents a lot of damage to the turret.
