Radiometric measurement of mass flow of bulk products – Accuracy and reliability guaranteed

The Radiometric Conveyor Scale is non-contact, with a scintillation detector installed below and a shielded source mounted above the conveyor system. The transported product passes through a gamma radiation field similar to a curtain of detection cells. Gamma radiation is attenuated as it passes through the product. A scintillation detector then determines its degree of attenuation, which depends on the conveyor load.
In addition to the classic measuring device with point source and elongated detector, we can also work with elongated sources which are mainly used when higher accuracies are required, allowing us to obtain optimal measurement results for each application.
