Hollow shaft incremental rotary encoder
HEIDENHAIN rotary encoders type ERN (series 100/400/1000/1300) are used to record measured values of rotary movements and angular velocities. When combined with mechanical measuring media, for example worms, they can also measure linear displacements.
• Typically 50 to 5,000 strokes
• Accuracies up to ± 12“
• Measurement resolutions down to 0.001°
• Hollow shaft from Ø6mm to 50mm
• rotation speed up to 12000 rpm
The high quality of the sinusoidal incremental signals from the photoelectric rotary sensors enables high interpolations for digital speed control.
Areas of use and application examples: They are used, for example, on electric drives, machine tools, printing machines, woodworking machines, textile machines, robots and manipulators, as well as on various types of metrology and control devices.
