Carrier invests €30 million to expand its Montluel plant

Carrier, a specialist in air conditioning, heating, and air handling, announces an investment of more than €30 million to expand its Montluel (Ain) plant, strengthening its industrial capabilities. The 32,000 m² site, backed by a 7,500 m² R&D center, is acquiring a new line dedicated to data center compressors and another for R290 heat pumps. The plant will now be able to produce centrifugal water chillers up to 13 MW. With 14 operational assembly lines, this expansion is accompanied by planned recruitment in 2025. Carrier, which already employs 1,300 people, is thus confirming its roots in France and its commitment to innovation in high-performance air conditioning and heating equipment.
