45 – France’s biggest meat substitute production site is coming to Chevilly!
After raising 35 million euros, Guillaume Dubois and Cédric Meston, the two founders of the HappyVore brand, leader in "100% vegetable & gourmet" food alternatives, have officially launched their production site in Chevilly (Loiret). . In full growth, the company, which is experiencing real enthusiasm among the distribution circuits, has in fact chosen to set up its production unit in the Centre-Val de Loire. A region recognized for its cereal agriculture, rich in vegetable raw materials and ideally located near the Paris region. To meet its growth objectives, the production site - a former agri-food factory being renovated to come into operation at the end of 2022-beginning of 2023 - should, at full capacity, prepare and package nearly 10,000 tonnes of products per year. In the meantime, HappyVore plans to recruit around thirty employees by the end of the year and the production of the lines. And by 2025, more than 70 recruitments are planned for the new establishment in Loire Valley; a vast recruitment campaign will be conducted for this purpose.
