85 - The Malongo roaster will build a 3,500 m² factory in Vendée
A year after abandoning China and settling in La Roche-sur-Yon to produce Made In France coffee machines, the Malongo roaster is going to build a 3,500 m² factory in Vendée which should open in 2025. Its ambition: multiply its production by six or seven. Through this expansion plan, Malongo estimates that it will be able to increase its production from 60,000 to nearly 400,000 machines per year, within three years and establish its economic model. To increase the reliability of its Eoh espresso coffee machines and reduce costs, Malongo has halved the number of its components. With its future factory, which should employ 55 people in 2025, Malongo also intends to develop on the refurbished market, with products offered at 30% or 40% of the price of new.
