Uses and characteristics of emergency stop buttons

The emergency stop buttons are impact resistant and have the function of being usable without problems in an emergency. If an emergency stop switch is activated, it can only be unlocked on command, by performing a maneuver such as turning the button one way or pulling it, for example.
All emergency stop buttons meet strict standards and are CE, TÜV Süd, CCC, EN 60947-5-1, EN 60947-5-5 and EN ISO 13850 certified.

Flush-mounted emergency stop buttons

norelem offers flush-mounted emergency stop buttons of different diameters. To activate them, you must manually press the red button, which will cause the machines and installations concerned to stop. The punch buttons lock in the depressed position and also unlock manually by turning the button right or left.
The push button switches are made of plastic with an AgNi contact terminal. Their mechanical and electrical lifespan is 50,000 switching cycles. The connection between the emergency stop button and the contact element is constantly monitored by the safety contact. The latter is triggered if an anomaly is detected such as careless installation for example, and the machine will be stopped.

Emergency stop buttons with contact blocks

Emergency stop push buttons, when activated and pressure on the actuator is applied, all normally closed contacts are released, instantly stopping all electrical power.
Emergency stop buttons are easy to install, directly on your machines or installations.

Emergency stop buttons in “minibox” box

To complete its range, norelem presents emergency stop buttons in a “Minibox” box. Due to its narrow shape, the minibox, a ready-to-connect box equipped with an emergency stop button, can be mounted directly on aluminum profiles. Minibox emergency stop buttons can also be mounted on flat surfaces using mounting holes.
