Double/single acting hydraulic rotary lever clamping cylinder with spring return
Rotary lever clamping cylinders are very suitable for clamping devices where space is limited. Thanks to their compactness, rotary lever clamping cylinders can be used in multiple ways in clamping devices where space is limited, often offering flexible solutions.

When clamping with the rotary lever clamping cylinder, the indexable handle moves in a straight path towards the workpiece to clamp it. To loosen the workpiece, the indexable handle retracts until the workpiece can be removed from above without risk of collision. The individual stroke of a rotary lever clamping cylinder depends on the choice of the indexable handle.
The cleanliness of the clamping elements must be checked regularly and cleaned if necessary.
Care should be taken to ensure that the mounting position does not cause chip nests to form in the rotating area of the indexable handle of the rotary lever clamping cylinder.
The flange of the rotary lever clamping cylinder must be adjusted to the height of the workpiece during assembly and the clamping point must be positioned horizontally.
The correct positioning of the rotary lever clamping cylinder allows the tolerances of the workpieces to be optimally compensated despite a short indexable handle.
Clamping cylinders with rotating levers can generate significant forces. It is then necessary to ensure that the workpieces and clamping devices are designed to withstand such loads.
