Ridged plastic buttons with detectable metal
Metal detectable operating elements are made from EU10/2011 and FDA compliant plastic pellets. Thanks to special additives contained in plastic granules, metal detectors (induction technology) can detect particles as small as plastic fragments of 0.027 cm³ (3x3x3 mm). Plastic fragments from metal detectable operating elements can thus be identified in sensitive sectors such as food processing, significantly reducing the risk of production stoppages and complaints.
Matter :
Thermoplastic (glass fiber reinforced polyamide), metal detectable, EU10/2011 and FDA compliant. Components in stainless steel 1.4404.
Finishing :
Dark gray RAL 7021 thermoplastic.
Polished stainless steel components.
Note:
The metal detectable additive may cause partial variations in the color of the plastic surface.
