SIMPLER, FASTER AND MORE ADVANTAGEOUS: R+W SHAFT LINES
Precision shaft lines are used to cover large distances. Whereas in the past, it was necessary to provide an intermediate bearing in the event of a significant distance, modern shaft lines make it possible to obtain significant gaps (up to 6 meters) between the shafts without intermediate support. Their fields of application are very varied: they are found in particular in machine tools, packaging machines, printing machines, handling installations and cranes, or even in the field of manufacturing and painting lines.
- Structure :
- Two coupling hubs manufactured with high concentricity, with concave shaped feed dogs.
- Elastomer insert of your choice, in execution A or B.
- The two coupling bodies are fixedly assembled by an aluminum tube with optimized concentricity.
- Temperature range: depending on the elastomer insert chosen.
- Torsional stiffness: In order to optimize the drive unit, we offer different Shore hardnesses for the elastomer inserts.
- Tolerance clearance: of the shaft-hub connection 0.01 - 0.05 mm
- Material :
- Coupling hubs: up to series 450 made of high-strength aluminum, series 800 steel, from series 2500 2500 FGS 40
- Elastomer insert: precisely manufactured plastic, extremely resistant to wear and temperatures
- Intermediate tube: high precision aluminum tube, steel tube and FRP possible as options.
- Rotation speeds: for all requests or orders, please indicate the service speed in order to verify the critical bending speed.
- Technical characteristics: nominal torque: 10 - 25,000 Nm

- Radial mounting possible by split clamping hub

- Tapered clamping hub possible as an option
