In addition to a wide range of products, we can also offer you special couplings totally adapted to your applications.

Long service life, reliability and flexibility: thanks to these qualities, industrial couplings are perfect for all areas of application that require maximum safety and performance despite constant extreme loads. Indeed, any downtime, any failure or any breakdown causes costs to skyrocket and can lead to technical damage or workplace accidents, regardless of the industrial sector.

The requirements for the reliability of assembly elements are therefore as high as those for their areas of use. Industrial couplings must

o      transmit extremely high torques with minimal performance losses,

o      resist wear, even when subjected to extreme stress, and

o      protect facilities and minimize risks.

R+W combines all these qualities in innovative couplings for industrial construction. Special customized solutions are made for many applications, but there is a wide range of standard couplings in which any company can find the product that suits them.

  • Structure :
    • Driving part: slotted conical clamping hub coupling hub.
    • Driven part: mounting flange with 12 mounting threads each. The bearing is integrated.
    • Interlocking segments: distributed around the circumference. Adjustable within defined range.
  • Temperature range: -30 to +120°C
  • Lifespan: torque limiters are very durable and maintenance-free if the technical instructions are followed.
  • Tolerance clearance: of the shaft-hub connection 0.02 - 0.07 mm
  • Material: hardened steel, high strength (oxidized surface).
  • Properties of the STN model torque limiter:
    • High clamping forces
    • Exact torque limitation
    • Torque from 1,000 to 160,000 Nm
    • Torsion-rigid execution
    • Integrated bearing for toothed belt disc or chain sprocket
