Linear ball bearings
Linear ball bearing
Linear ball bearings – also called linear ball bearings or shaft guides – are used to guide the rectilinear movements of a machine element along a cylindrical shaft with as little friction as possible. In contrast to conventional ball bearings, they are therefore also equipped with an axial ball circuit.
Ball bearings from norelem consist of a steel or plastic housing with hardened steel bearing segments. They guide the sets of balls inside the system and provide unlimited travel for restricted guidance. Linear rolling bearings are therefore important components in machine and device construction and are used in particular in manufacturing automation, machine tools and rail vehicles, as well as in food and medical technology.
