NORELEM
Ball support norelem
Oscillating ball mounts come into play as screw stops, supports or pads.
With the positioning aids available in numerous sizes, variants and in different surface finishes, both blank and machined parts can be supported and clamped. Depending on the application, selecting the right surface finish is sometimes important. norelem now offers oscillating ball bearings with polyurethane or diamond-finish surfaces.
Oscillating ball bearings from norelem are as varied as your areas of application. Since the different support positions in tool and machine manufacturing can have very special requirements on the support surface and the clamping surface, norelem has two new types of tilting ball bearings in its program.
Oscillating ball mounts with abrasion-resistant, untinted polyurethane surface finish provide better protection against damage to sensitive surfaces and allow for superior holding force. The polyurethane support is therefore vulcanized on the ball. Their bead-like structure allows compressed air to escape, so there is no suction between the contact surface and the oscillating ball mount.

Oscillating ball bearings with a diamond surface finish come into play particularly in the positioning of machined or slippery objects. The diamond tip is fused with the ball. These oscillating ball mounts require only a minimum of clamping pressure since the fine diamond particles impart large holding forces to very small surfaces with minimal damage to object surfaces.
