Masonry regeneration
Walls weakened by damaged binders?
The URETEK® solution consists of injecting expanding resin into the weakened construction to regenerate the deficient or deteriorated binders and improve the structural strength of the structure. This process can be applied to all types of brick, stone or mixed material walls .
Uniform treatment
The treatment consists of injecting the exclusive expanding resin with low expansion power into the work to be treated, so that it penetrates the damaged joints. As it hardens, it regenerates the binders and sticks the blocks together to consolidate the whole.
The rapid polymerization of the resin guarantees a uniform treatment on all points of the treated area. In addition, its very high shear resistance improves the cohesion of the treated wall.
Various fields of application
This solution can be applied to:
- Foundations
- Foothills
- containment walls
- Banks and dykes
- Shoulders
- Docks and locks
- Stacks of bridges
One stop solution
URETEK® response teams use a proprietary resin with a specific swelling pressure property.
This characteristic allows it to be injected without problems in all types of masonry, filling all the immediate voids as well as those further from the outlet of the injection tube. Unlike other conventional techniques, the impregnation of the resin is not only gravity.
The composition of this resin gives it the possibility of applying the solution to submerged or buried masonry.
Quick implementation
After perforating the masonry to be treated and inserting the injection cannulas, the expanding resin is gradually injected through the holes, to diffuse into the voids before expanding and hardening very quickly.
In less than 24 hours, the treatment applied obtains its final mechanical characteristics. This intervention does not require any demolition or excavation on the area to be treated. It does not generate any vibration or dust.
The advantages of its use
- Fast and economical processing
- Immediate efficiency
- Minimally invasive site
- No business interruption
- No excavation or demolition
- Suitable for submerged or buried masonry
