Anchoring of structures to the ground
Counter ground thrusts behind a structure
For structures built against the ground, there is an additional risk of damage caused by earth pressure . Indeed, if it becomes too large, it can cause deformations or even displacements . These phenomena can also be linked to the aging of the structures themselves. In the most serious cases, the situation can become critical with landslides , or even a localized or complete collapse of the too weakened structure.
A unique anchoring solution
The exclusive URETEK® solution consists of anchoring the structure to the ground by combining the use of micro-anchors and an exclusive expanding resin.
By arranging the micro-anchors according to a precise and regular mesh on the structure to be stabilized, the action of the latter thus avoids the displacement or the deformation of the structure.
A wide field of application
This process applies equally well to new structures or to the recovery and repair of existing structures .
Here are the different apps:
- Filling & retaining walls
- Raft anchor
- Excavations & excavations
- Embankment reinforcement
- Outcrop protections
- Dykes & quay walls
- Underpasses
- Galleries & tunnels
A versatile technique
Small in size, the micro-anchors are transportable and can be used by hand, which makes them easy to install on structures that are difficult to access, for example.
Without the need to use heavy machinery for their implementation, this solution is therefore minimally invasive and quick to implement by the intervention teams.
Immediate efficiency
The tensioning of the micro-anchors is done by injecting the exclusive URETEK® expanding resin via these micro-anchors placed in the structure. The almost instantaneous swelling and polymerization of the resin around each micro-anchor very quickly creates a sealing zone allowing the intervention teams to immediately tension the micro-anchors.
Sustainable over time
The resin used is an environmentally inert polymer that does not deteriorate on contact with natural elements such as water. This has received the EXCELL PLUS certificate guaranteeing its non-harmfulness in sensitive areas.
In addition, the micro-anchors are entirely made up of stainless steel elements giving them high resistance to corrosion , coupled with impermeability guaranteed by the expanding resin surrounding the micro-anchor.
The URETEK® advantages
- Quick implementation up to 30 anchors per day
- Minimally invasive procedure
- Maintenance of activity during the intervention
- Emergency intervention and in difficult access
- Attractive prices compared to traditional techniques
