Hermès will open a new leather goods factory near Bordeaux in 2026

Hermès, the prestigious French luxury house, announced the opening of its 25th production site in France in 2026, in Loupes (33). This site will be the second factory in Gironde after that of Guyenne in Saint-Vincent-de-Paul, and the sixth in New Aquitaine. The Loupes leather goods factory will welcome 260 artisans trained in excellent techniques thanks to the Hermès School of Know-how. “Hermès thus strengthens its role as a corporate citizen that creates quality jobs and reaffirms its desire to participate sustainably in the growth dynamic of territories in France,” declared the House in a press release.
