Araïko joins the ADAPTe consortium to transform the aeronautics sector through artificial intelligence
Artificial intelligence and aeronautics: Araïko selected to join the ADAPTe consortium
Lyon, 01/14/2025 – Araïko, an expert in artificial intelligence serving SMEs and mid-cap companies, announces its contribution to the ADAPTe project after being selected by the DGAC and Nexteam. The ADAPTe project is a consortium led by Nexteam and supported by partners such as Airbus Helicopters, ESI, Immersion, Inoprod and ISAE-Supméca. This project, funded by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC) and the Council for Civil Aeronautics Research (CORAC), aims to modernize industrial processes and strengthen the competitiveness of the aeronautics sector through cutting-edge digital solutions.
The ADAPTe consortium, presentation
The ADAPTe (Advanced DigitAlized Production Technology) project aims to revolutionize the industry by:
- modeling, through digital twins, industrial systems by developing cyber-physical systems,
- creating predictive operational assistance,
- and capitalizing on know-how and best practices.
The partners' common approach is based on a vision where digital technologies are used to improve the performance of teams in their daily missions.
Araïko’s AI expertise at the service of the aeronautics sector
Araïko contributes to the project by designing intelligent AI assistants aimed at optimizing the life cycle of complex parts and high-speed parts.
The main feature of these assistants is their ability to adapt to a variety of activities, such as the development of macro-ranges, costing, the creation of industrial validation files, or even assistance in the assembly of complex parts directly on the assembly stations.
These assistants must be able to adapt to the specific needs of each activity and to the great diversity of part typology, with the final objective of improving operational efficiency to increase capacities, quality and capitalization of good practices, in order to bring even more performance and flexibility to current production lines.
“Artificial intelligence is a major lever for meeting the challenges of the aeronautics supply chain, by optimizing flows, from product design to methods, to capitalizing on good field practices. The aeronautics industry will be one of the sectors most transformed by AI over the next three years. For example, AI facilitates the deployment of high value-added solutions, which can be easily deployed to a wide range of part references, without requiring overinvestment.” Fayçal Rezgui, CEO of Araïko
“These AI solutions invite us to rethink our approaches and adopt new mental models to identify new performance levers, particularly in quality control and complex manual assembly. They thus make it possible to reduce the downtime of production equipment and aircraft. At Araïko, we are convinced that AI has a key role to play throughout the aeronautics supply chain today, a conviction reinforced by our commitment to this consortium.” Fayçal Rezgui, CEO of Araïko
In an aeronautical sector subject to high demands for quality, speed and sustainability, artificial intelligence constitutes an essential lever for growth.
